We have a rigorous product testing and quality assurance process, and we have spent a lot of time and effort to make our fulfilment and shipping experience as smooth and easy for you as possible.

  • What is Krete?

    Krete is a men’s wellness brand that focuses on skin care products that are easy to use, yet incredibly effective at fixing your skin issues. We started when our founder had a ski accident, and needed to find simple, effective, and easy to use skin care products for his nose scar.

  • What is 30-second skin care?

    All of our products take just 30 seconds to use. Most of them show visible results in 30 seconds or less, and most take less than 30 seconds to understand.

  • Is Krete for men?

    Krete products work for everyone, but we have focused our messaging and education to help men start from square 1 when it comes to skin care. Men need a kick in the ass to get started because of decades of culture that excluded them from the conversation. Until now, it was easier to do nothing than to walk into a skin care store and pick the correct product out of the selection of hundreds to thousands.

    We offer simple products, with even simpler explanations. No extra equipment, no confusing terms, etc. It turns out that many men AND women want this.

  • Why should I bother doing anything to my skin?

    Dude, it’s your face! Everyone looks at your face all the time…on video calls, in person, or on your social media posts, it is where people’s eyes go to first. If you take 30-seconds for better skin, you will look better ALL DAY!

  • Where are Krete products made?

    Krete products are all made in California, USA. Our products are made in house by our internal team of formulators and chemists. We control it A-Z so the quality control is unmatched!

  • Is Krete a sustainable company?

    Almost all of our packaging is recyclable, our box manufacturer uses a wind powered factory, and we have a very low carbon footprint because we provide "30-Second Returns" (see below) and we manufacture everything within a few miles, reducing transportation waste.

  • Is Krete a Clean, Cruelty-free and Vegan brand?

          

    Yes, every Krete product 100% Vegan and Leaping Bunny Certified for cruelty free formulas and production.  We pass the commonly accepted standard for “Clean Formulas” according to large retailers and manufactures in the skin care industry.

Product Questions


  • How do Krete products have such amazing results in under 30 seconds?

    We only formulate products that have an immediate, and powerful effect on many common skin issues by using the highest quality ingredients. We formulated MANY iterations for each product, until we found formulas that worked well, consistently. For example, dry skin looks visibly white and flakey, and our Hydrating Facial Serum goes to work the second you apply it to reduce both the appearance and potentially the pain you feel from dry skin. The specific molecular weights of the Hyaluronic Acid in that serum help it last all day.

  • What is a serum vs. a moisturizer?

    Our Hydrating Facial Serum is a concentrated, water based moisturizer. We only use the best ingredients, and we do not put unnecessary ingredients, like cheap oils, that can actually cause skin issues.

    The oil in most other moisturizers can stay on your hands longer, which is incredibly annoying, and it can stain your clothing much more. We avoid those issues.

  • What testing did Krete do to make sure its products are safe?

    We work with an FDA approved lab in California, USA, and we run stability, compatibility, preservative efficacy testing. This means that we leave our products in an oven for 6 months, at extreme temperatures and humidity (called an accelerated test), and our products still passed every single bacteria, mold, yeast, etc. test with flying colors.

  • Is Krete packaging recyclable?

    Yes, all of the packaging for our main products is recyclable. Some of our samples require layered materials, such as metal and plastic combined, which is not technically recyclable. However, we made this choice because the sample foils that we picked are very light weight and flat, meaning they are much easier to ship, which cuts down on their carbon footprint massively.

  • Does Krete develop its own formulas?

    We have developed our formulas 100% from scratch with the highest quality in house and contracted formulators. This control allowed us to use only the best ingredients, and exclude filler ingredients that serve no purpose, except to cut the cost of production. We have tested all our formulas rigorously on a variety of skin types, and we do not stop iterating until we have winning results.

    Ex: Apple Stem Cell Extract is $4,000 per kg… Like we said, we make sure to only use the best ingredients.

  • Are Krete products for all skin types (including sensitive skin, and acne prone skin)?

    Yes, we have tested our products with many customers before we fully launch them. We also test our products with an FDA approved lab in California, USA.

  • Do I need extra tools or equipment to use Krete products?

    No. You just need your hands/fingers to use all of our products.

  • Are Krete products detectable on my face?

    No. We named the brand Krete partially because our products are discreet…We designed our products to help YOU look better, and for no one to know that you are using anything…People should notice your skin improvement, not how it happened. Krete products are your secret weapon.

  • Is Krete Packaging discreet?

    Yes! We send you products in discreet, recyclable cardboard corrugated boxes. If you want to tell your friends about these products, please do, but we believe that it is your choice to have people know, or not know, how your skin looks so amazing. The shipping label on the boxes will have a return address that says our company name and address.

  • Do Krete products have anti-aging benefits?

    Yes, our hero ingredients Hyaluronic Acid and Apple Stem Cell Extract help fight the appearance of aging!

  • Can I use the Hydrating Facial Serum as an aftershave?

Orders and Shipping Questions


  • What is Krete’s “Lazy Return” Policy for refunds and returns?

    We believe that everything should take 30-seconds or less, including returning products. That is why we created our “Lazy Return” policy, which lets you get a refund for your order, minus $5 per item, without having to ship it back to us. You get to keep your products and avoid a trip to the post office, while saving the environment from the extra carbon footprint of return shipping!

  • Is shipping free, and how fast is the shipping?

    Standard shipping is FREE on ALL orders! If you would like to select expedited shipping you can choose that option on the checkout page.

    Shipping is only 1 part of the equation. We try to get the items fulfilled on our end as quickly as possible, and many orders are put in the mail the same day you order them, as long as the order is placed before 2:30 pm eastern time. Orders placed later than that usually go out the next business day. However, fulfilment times vary due to a number of reasons including sales volume spikes.

  • Where does Krete ship to?

    Short answer: Krete Ships to all 50 states in the United States of America! We are working on expanding to international shipping, starting with Canada, and expanding globally from there.

  • How can I check my order status or track an order?

    A few minutes after your order, you should receive an order confirmation email. Then, after your product has shipped, you should receive an order tracking email. Additionally, we may send you order update emails. If you cannot find these emails in your inbox, please check your spam folder.

  • What do I do if my order is not delivered?

    Occasionally, carriers will mark packages as delivered when they are still in transit. If they make this mistake, please wait a few days. After waiting, if you have not received your package, please contact the carrier with your tracking information. If that does not work, please contact us at for assistance.

  • What do I do if my order arrives damaged?

    Occasionally, products arrive damaged from the shipping process. We take every precaution to secure every product that we send you including using protective packaging within our shipping boxes. Once a carrier is in control of one of our packages, we have no more control over its condition. Please contact us at for assistance with any orders that arrived damaged. This will let us file a claim with the carrier, and replace your items.

  • What do I do if my there are late or missing funds/refunds?

    If we have issued you a refund, but you have not received your funds yet, first check your bank account one additional time. Occasionally it can take days or even weeks before some credit card companies post refunds, so check with your credit card company next. If that does not work, you should contact your bank. Overall, we have seen that it takes days to weeks to process some returns. We do it as quickly as we can on our end, but your credit card company and bank may take time. If you need further assistance after doing all of these steps, please contact , for further assistance.

  • Can I exchange products?

    We offer one time exchanges on all products that arrive damaged or defective, including regular orders, sale orders, and gifts. To complete an exchange, you may be asked to fill out an online form, and provide a description and images of the defective product. Once an item has been replaced with an exchange item, that exchange item, and the entire order in which the exchange item was a part of, can no longer be refunded or returned.

  • Can I cancel or change an order?

    We have worked very hard to automate our order fulfillment process so that we can get your products to you ASAP! This means that as soon as you confirm the order, we start working on it. Due to this, we are unable to cancel or make edits to orders that have been placed. Please feel free to contact us at if you need help with canceling or modifying an order, and we will see if we can help, but we cannot make any guarantees.

  • Is there any additional refund information?

    Krete reserves the right to refuse a refund or return, or to refund an order in store credit, and not cash, and we may investigate if we suspect fraud or any other malicious/dishonest behavior.

    Only regularly priced items may be refunded. Sale items, gifts, and gift cards cannot be refunded, unless otherwise required by law. A Sale item is any item that discounted more than 10% of the original price.

    Store credit is non-transferable. It must be used by the customer who it was issued to. If you use store credit to make a purchase, and you request a refund during the 30 day allowable refund window, you will be issued a refund in store credit, and not cash, or any other means of repayment.

    There are no refunds or exchanges for stolen items, or orders where an incorrect/incomplete address is provided at checkout. If the carrier scans and confirms delivery of your package to the address that you provided, we cannot issue a refund for a missing package.
